To keep all of our guests up to date with everything happening at Birchwood Lexus, here are some updates on our Service and Sales Departments, as well as some information on potentially deferring your current car payments.

Birchwood Lexus Service Department

Birchwood Lexus believes we should be social distancing as much as possible. We understand you may want to put off any repairs or maintenance to your vehicles, but should you want to have that work completed, we have added additional safety measures into our process such as our new Service Kiosk. You can now drop your car off, choose which work you need, pick up your vehicle and pay for your service, without speaking to anyone in person.

Birchwood Lexus Sales Department

We understand that regardless of what is happening around us, some of will still need a new or Pre-owned vehicle. For those guests who are continuing to shop for a vehicle, we have also put measures in place to make this process as safe as possible.

  • We are able to complete the majority of your purchase or lease online from home with our new Buy From Home program. https://www.birchwoodlexus.ca/buyfromhome/
  • We are happy to drop a vehicle at your home for a test drive^ (we will sanitize the vehicles touch points upon drop off at your home). 
  • We can pick up your trade if applicable to perform a complimentary inspection and appraisal (we will sanitize your vehicle before the return trip to Birchwood Lexus, and again before returning it to you)
Some Additional Benefits

For the lease or finance of a new or demonstrator Lexus vehicle, Lexus Canada and Birchwood Lexus have come together to increase your loyalty interest rate reduction to 2% off of our already low rates. To qualify for this 2% rate reduction on your new purchase or lease, you must currently own or lease a Lexus or Toyota vehicle. Trading that vehicle is not required. In certain cases, this reduces the interest rate down to 0%. (O.A.C.)

  • 2% rate reduction includes new lease and finance contracts through Lexus Financial Services.
  • Available 6-month payment deferral on all New and Lexus Certified Pre-owned FINANCE contract ON TOP of the 2% rate reduction
  • New 72-month finance options which are compatible with the 6-month payment deferral and 2% rate reduction
  • Potential to have a lower payment on a new vehicle
  • For those guests who have MSD (Multiple Security Deposit) leases, you could potentially get in to a new lease or finance and use the 2% loyalty while taking some/all of your MSD money back “just in case”

Finance or Lease Payment Assistance

We know this is a difficult time, and unfortunately regardless of our financial situation, our bills keep coming. To assist our guests, we have spoken to the majority of the financial institutions that we partner with and have compiled a list of contacts you can use to inquire about making adjustments to your payments, or even have them deferred*.

Here is a list of the Financial Institutions as of right now offering payment deferral options and how to access each.

This will allow you to adjust or inquire about:

  • Due Date Changes
  • Delay Payment
  • Insurance Update
  • Banking Info Change
  • Address Change
  • General Requests
RBC
  • Click here: Online Banking. (“Enroll Now” if not yet set up)
  • Your account number will be on the welcome letter or annual statement letter you would have received from RBC.
  • If you do not have the required information, call 800-769-2511. When the prompt asks why you are calling, say “Covid 19 Relief” this will bypass the other prompts and put you in the queue.

If you are set up for online banking:

  • From the Account Summary page, select the loan you would like to manage.
  • Scroll to the bottom of that page and select the “Skip a Payment” option.
  • Follow the instructions.

Skip or delay a loan payment function is available through Online Banking 24 hours a day and 7 days per week.

CIBC

Online at cibc.com/covid19 to complete a financial assistance form. Clients who have completed the online form, will receive a follow-up email from the CIBC Advisory Team.

If your situation requires immediate attention, such as having a payment due in the next 48 hours, please contact your CIBC advisor or call 1-877-454-9030.

TD

Call 1-866-694-4392, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m. (ET) and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.– 8:00 (ET) to learn about a payment deferral option that meets your individual needs. As you may imagine, TD banks wait times will be longer than normal.

Note: deferral options can only be processed through TD’s call center.
