To keep all of our guests up to date with everything happening at Birchwood Lexus, here are some updates on our Service and Sales Departments, as well as some information on potentially deferring your current car payments.
Birchwood Lexus believes we should be social distancing as much as possible. We understand you may want to put off any repairs or maintenance to your vehicles, but should you want to have that work completed, we have added additional safety measures into our process such as our new Service Kiosk. You can now drop your car off, choose which work you need, pick up your vehicle and pay for your service, without speaking to anyone in person.
We understand that regardless of what is happening around us, some of will still need a new or Pre-owned vehicle. For those guests who are continuing to shop for a vehicle, we have also put measures in place to make this process as safe as possible.
For the lease or finance of a new or demonstrator Lexus vehicle, Lexus Canada and Birchwood Lexus have come together to increase your loyalty interest rate reduction to 2% off of our already low rates. To qualify for this 2% rate reduction on your new purchase or lease, you must currently own or lease a Lexus or Toyota vehicle. Trading that vehicle is not required. In certain cases, this reduces the interest rate down to 0%. (O.A.C.)
We know this is a difficult time, and unfortunately regardless of our financial situation, our bills keep coming. To assist our guests, we have spoken to the majority of the financial institutions that we partner with and have compiled a list of contacts you can use to inquire about making adjustments to your payments, or even have them deferred*.
Here is a list of the Financial Institutions as of right now offering payment deferral options and how to access each.
If you are set up for online banking:
Skip or delay a loan payment function is available through Online Banking 24 hours a day and 7 days per week.
Online at cibc.com/covid19 to complete a financial assistance form. Clients who have completed the online form, will receive a follow-up email from the CIBC Advisory Team.
If your situation requires immediate attention, such as having a payment due in the next 48 hours, please contact your CIBC advisor or call 1-877-454-9030.
Call 1-866-694-4392, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m. (ET) and Saturday, 9:00 a.m.– 8:00 (ET) to learn about a payment deferral option that meets your individual needs. As you may imagine, TD banks wait times will be longer than normal.
Note: deferral options can only be processed through TD’s call center.
