Royal MTC Black and White Ball

Proceeds from the Black & White Ball help Royal MTC ensure vibrant theatre remains accessible to all Manitobans. The money raised supports the cost of the Mainstage and Warehouse productions, keeping ticket prices affordable. Proceeds raised also support their youth education and enrichment programs - Theatre for Young Audiences, the Backstage Pass, Teen Critic program, and scholarships to assists emerging Manitoban artists with their education. Additional Royal MTC programs include Wordplay – their play development program and the Regional Tour – touring professional theatre to over 24 communities in rural Manitoba and Northwest Ontario.

Order Sons of Italy has established itself as North America’s largest and longest serving organization representing men and women of Italian Heritage and is constantly working towards funding and showcasing key elements of Italian heritage to the community.

On March 15, 2018, Royal LePage hosted Game Night Fundraiser for Willow Place which is a family violence agency. It is dedicated to supporting transformation, healing and healthy relationships in women and children. Incorporated in April 2015, Willow Place maintains Manitoba’s long-standing tradition of providing support and services to women and their children who have been a victim of family violence.

Seven Oaks Hospital is a pioneer in wellness initiatives that are enriching the quality of care by establishing Prevention and Chronic Disease Management Services that cut down on the time and length of hospitalization as the population becomes healthier; all while working to make sure that Primary Care, Acute Care, and Rehabilitation becomes more accessible to patients through an integrated strategy.

Canada Games 2017

The Canada Games are held every two years, alternating between the Canada Winter Games and Canada Summer Games. The Games provide young athletes with the opportunity to showcase their hard work and talents while representing their respective province or territory, competing for the Canada Games Flag and Centennial Cup. The Games further the development of these young athletes into Canada’s future national and international stars, with many representing the country in the Olympics.

Annual Making Links Engineering Classic 2017

The Making Links Engineering Classic (MLEC) golf tournament was founded in 2004. Organized by the Sports Committee of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba in association with the University of Manitoba Faculty of Engineering, the tournament offers Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba members and their guests an enjoyable golf outing and an opportunity to network with fellow professionals, while supporting the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba. 

Player’s Cup 2017

The Players Cup joined the newly formed Mackenzie Tour- PGA TOUR CANADA in 2013 and quickly became a premier event on the national circuit. The Mackenzie Tour features some of the best up and coming golfers looking to take that step toward their dream of playing on golf’s greatest stages as they compete for their share of the Players Cup. Many Mackenzie Tour champions have hone on to the notable careers on the PGA TOUR, leading them on the path to reach the game’s highest level.

United Way is an organization that responds directly to the greatest needs in the community. Their mission is to increase help for kids and their families so there are more kids entering school ready to learn, more kids graduating high school, fewer families living in poverty and more families able to stay together.

Picasso at the Art Gallery 2017

Playing a dynamic role in the community, the Winnipeg Art Gallery thrives as a place for learning, dialogue, and enjoyment through art. As part of the WAG’s Canada 150 celebrations, Picasso in Canada brought together 35 artworks by the artist, including paintings, watercolours, drawings, prints, and ceramic works.

Bobby Hull Foundation for Children Golf tournament 2017

Former Canadian ice hockey player, Bobby Hull, is the founder of a foundation in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. The 2017 charity tournament netted $130,000 and funds were used to purchase emergency room patient stretchers and vital signs monitors, benefitting the lives of many children.

Cycling Canada

Cycling Canada is a National Sport Organization whose main reason for being is the organization and promotion of cycling in Canada. Cycling Canada exists to pursue world class results by leading high performance programs and enabling the development of athletes. Its programs include accessibility to cycling opportunities for everyone, improving the level of coaching and expertise available to national teams, national and regional training centers, and the development of a strong network within the community.
